This is a bad update. You can look at FUTURES and see other offsets to gather more info.

Do me a favor, market historian, and do some real research. Go back historically and tell me what happens after a long period of rate rises by the Fed...what happens when they start to cut rates. Do that research and get back to me about your rocket ships!!! Oh NEVER MIND (I'll mimic your all-caps exaggerated points!!), I'll help you out with a recent example. After several years of raising rates, the FED finally lowered rates with the first cut on Sep 18, 2007. That's where your rocket took off and, within 3 weeks the secondaries (IWM) had rallied WOW!!! 4.5%. Then that amazing rocket not only sputtered and died but saw IWM fall a historic 60%!!!! over the next 17 months...Can you see how foolish your orthodox theories on market behavior look when matched against actual history? Next time you raise your hand in class in an attempt to be smarter than the professor, be confident of your facts :) Today you get a failing grade!!
